An experiment in forming connections without words, made within a seminar on globalisation and transcultural exchange led by Prof. Ernst Wagner at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München.
Conducted during the pandemic, the project exchanged sound recordings between Hong Kong and Munich through a WhatsApp group. Participants were asked to build narratives from sound material they found, challenging the platform’s reliance on spoken language. The video work is a visual sound collage by April Kam and Tracy Tse.
